High-purity Phosphoric Acid

There are two methods for manufacturing phosphoric acid — the dry-process method and the wet-process method. Phosphoric Acid produced by the dry-process method has the advantage of containing fewer impurities than that produced by the wet-process method. Because of this advantage, our high-purity phosphoric acid made by the dry-process method is used in the electronics industry. Phosphoric acid has two uses in the electronics industry. One use is as an aluminum etching agent. In the process of manufacturing liquid crystal panels, wiring is made of thin aluminum film. Phosphoric acid is used as the main ingredient of mixed acid for the removal of excess aluminum. The other application is as an etching agent in the manufacturing of materials for semi-conductors such as GaN and GaAs.
